Viridian Melbourne
Obliik delivered the national head office for Viridian Financial Group, located at 55 Collins Street and completed in January 2026. Positioned at the top end of Collins Street, the workplace benefits from expansive views across the Melbourne CBD and serves as Viridian’s primary headquarters, supporting their broader network of metropolitan and regional offices across Australia.
Engaged as Principal Design Consultant, Obliik led the architectural design and design management, coordinated engineering and compliance consultants, and acted as Superintendent throughout construction. A key design challenge was ensuring both client facing and back of house areas could access city views while remaining efficient and highly functional. The project was delivered within a stringent budget and fixed relocation programme, requiring close coordination across design, procurement, and delivery.
Sustainable design informed key decisions throughout the project. Existing furniture and artwork were retained and upcycled where possible, modular acoustic booths with a high recycled material content were integrated, and durable finishes were selected to reduce waste and support long term performance. The result is a calm, considered workplace aligned with Viridian’s values and long-term operational needs.
